Was held I inter-forum on Sustainable Development Goals

The 1st Student grant competition Forum on Sustainable Development, the winner of the 1st grant competition of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was organized by the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan. 

Director of the Azerbaijan-French University (UFAZ) Vazeh Askerov welcomed the guests and students and expressed their satisfaction with the host. Later, the United Nations Development Program Officer Mr. Mazahir Efendiyev talked about the consistent development goals of the three main elements that allow future generations to meet today's needs. Hande Harmanci, representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Azerbaijan, spoke about the current activities of the WHO in Azerbaijan. He underlined the importance of coordinating public health measures to overcome current and emerging health priorities in order to achieve Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030. Ogtay Aliyev, Head of the Department for Sustainable Development Planning and Management of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who is an expert on the forum, said that he called for concerted efforts to build sustainable, sustainable and solid foundation for sustainable development. He also noted that ARPDIA has made many efforts in this area. Samir Hamidov, a fellow at the Western Kaspi University, said that over the next twelve years, the countries would mobilize all their efforts to put an end to all forms of poverty, take measures against inequalities, and combat climate change.

At the end, Executive Director of ASYOU Faig Mammadov expressed his gratitude to Vazeh Askerov for his expertise and hosting.
